This past week my kids turned me on to this heart-tugging, mind bending music video. The parallels to how most of us feel, trapped in today’s matrix of false information is amazing.
Watch as one leader’s voice is all the group needs to break out of the matrix. Watch their eyes change as they are blessed with truth. Notice how they are gaged from speaking and constant media is forced in their ears. Man! This video hits close to home.
Life Leadership is providing people with a path to break out of the Matrix. New information that is generated from the only true path is needed because we already know where information that doesn’t follow that path has taken us.
As in the video, it only takes one to change the tide. Will you be that one who provides the voice of truth?!
I recently read a blog post (with accompanied video) by Tim Marks with jaw dropping amazement and anger as to how much I am not aware of. I have watched this video 4 times now. I am reposting this blog for a simple reason, I hope it has the same affect on you! I hope you watch it, show someone else, and then show someone else.
Over years of a self-directed education, having read many books on a variety of topics including history and politics, I always try to step back and look at the facts as they are and not as I want them to be. With that in mind, I’d like to share a video from Edward Griffin, an excellent researcher and historian. I don’t agree with him on everything, but he offers some thought-provoking insights on our political parties.
In this clip, Griffin shares a bone-chilling question that was asked by a university history professor who actually mentored William Clinton while he was a student (a question that is the opposite of what I personally stand for.) The question asked was:
“How do you let people think they are directing their own political destiny, while at the same time we, the elite, are [actually] the ones directing their political destiny, without them [the people] knowing it?”
The answer, once you hear it, will cast a light on the political charade we see in our government today. Remember: we can’t make our world better until we understand it.
The video below casts light on things many of us have wondered or felt from time to time, and answers some questions about why we are stuck as a country and not following any one party’s “agenda” but really following an agenda we are not even aware of. Happy New Year Everyone! My family and I are excited for what we know is going to be a great year for so many people who believe in Freedom! A friend of mine recently gave me a documentary by Kirk Cameron titled Monumental. It was a powerful must see for every family to say the least! Jamie and I along with our three kids nestled down with some snacks as we watched in shock what we are not being taught regarding the truth of our country’s founding.
After the movie we all shared what we got most from it and I want to tell you, our kids (your kids too) get it! My wife and I have chose early on to educate our children because as you will see, that was the way it was meant to be and the people who we have given the power to do it are doing a terrible job (and I’m not blaming the teachers. As a teacher I was blinded too)!

One of my all-time favorite movies is Braveheart. I think of the courage many men and women had to have to fight for freedom throughout history. At any point in time I question if I would have had that same courage to take a stand regardless of cost. As I watch the battles in Braveheart I am overwhelmed by the loss of life with one quick strike of the sword and I think, would I run in fear of having a sword thrust in me or would my quest for freedom overrun my fear?
Thank the Lord we are not in times where we have to take up a sword to defend our freedom with the risk of getting our heads lopped off. Regardless, we are never in a time where we can be ignorant to the fact that freedom always has been and always will be under attack. We do not have to garnish a sword but in the information age we do have to be vigilant to the war of ideas.
I hope everyone understands that there is a battle to win over how you think. Don’t believe me? Go turn on the television to any channel and watch it with an open mind and ask yourself this question, “What is this program trying to program me to do?”
At one time we were the most free country in the world, but we are no longer. We have not lost any military battles to loose this freedom. The only battle we have lost is our ability to think.
Like William Wallace in the clip below I pray this country realizes there is a battle going on and people pick up their sword. Only in today’s world the sword is information. Let’s fight for getting people to start thinking again to perserve the freedom that once was in this country. I leave you with this last thought, lying on your deathbed many years from now, what will you wish you would have done today to preserve freedom?
Tonight as we turn out the lights in our family’s home we said our prayers as we usually do. This night on Memorial Day Eve we prayed for those men and women who had and have the courage to serve our country protecting the freedom’s we have. I encourage all who are celebrating an extra day off to take some time to remember those we gave so much so we can have the blessings we do.
Friends of mine ask me often how to properly celebrate Memorial Day? Well, I’ll leave that answer up to you. Along with the video, I’ll tell you what my family and I do to celebrate Memorial Day. If you have or are starting some family traditions on this day that you would like others to hear to give remembrance please respond with a post and telling about it. Sometimes people don’t do anything thinking what they are doing is not enough. Anything we do to remember the cost of our freedom and pass that message on to our next generations is enough.
On Memorial Day Jamie and I take our children to the cemetery. We look at the gravestones that have the American flags posted near them and we talk about those names with our kids. The date they were born and died along with the war they most likely fought in. It is a quiet respectful time as we talk about the families these soldiers left behind paying the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.
When I was younger I was bullied by some older kids. They would physically harass me because they were much bigger me and they could. As I got older I learned that I could get stronger standing up to their actions and the physical abuse stopped. Smart as a bully is in their pursuit of keeping people down they learned the most powerful tool to keeping people in their place: go for the mind. Realizing they could no longer physically attack they unleashed a continuous verbal attack on me over many years that affected my thoughts on the way I perceived myself.
I thought of this powerful tool used to control others as I came across an audio recording of Paul Harvery’s radio broadcast from 1965. How do you keep a large group of people in their place? Control their thinking. This was recorded 47 years ago but it sounds like Mr. Harvey was right on with his analysis of our nations future.
Agree with the video or not what I like about Paul Harvey, he is a thinker. If you disagree with the video I hope at least it got you to think because if we are going to turn this thing around we are going to have to become a nation of people who learn and think for themselves.
Steve and Kelli Sager were introduced to LIFE several years ago and were skeptical. Although they didn’t know it, they were not skeptical to what LIFE offered them, they were unhappy “living the dream” and having no results to show for it. Working hard their whole lives, Steve as a police officer and Kelli a factory worker, they were hounded with debt, time starved, and relationship stressed and were feeling there had to be more to life.
Looking for a better way to make ends meet Steve started to explore other options like going into real estate. During that same time he was introduced to Life-Team through a friend, meeting Gary Severson and although skeptical, the information spoke too much truth. “I was tired of hitting my head against a brick and found this was a good way to stop the pain” Steve said.
Having no security in their jobs, they were living pay check to pay check and just could not get ahead in the drowning pool of debt. Steve and Kelli thought they had done everything they were supposed to do and yet they found themselves stressed out with life.
Using the Team system of success principles they began to leverage their discretionary time to building their business to the first of many notable levels. This past weekend Steve and Kelli celebrated a huge level in Life-Team. They are now being rewarded for their determination, courage, and their tireless effort to helping others. Financially they have witled down a 6+ debt figure to almost nonexhistent and they are putting some final things in place for Kelli’s freedom day! When I asked Steve about other victories they have attained through LIFE he was quick to point their better marriage, coming to faith, and their much improved relationship with their kids.
They are now leading a large community. With their constant learning to grow in the 8F’s, many people now come to them for help because they see so much strength in areas that used to be weaknesses.
In a world were many are complaining about their situations but not willing to do anything about it, we solute Steve and Kelli for creating a path for others to follow. Rather than living a life of existence, they are now living a life of purpose.
