When Steve and Jamie saw Life, they did not understand the full potential, but understood enough to get started immediately. After attending a seminar and leadership convention they knew the association of Life is what they had always been looking for. Steve and Jamie both graduated from UW-Whitewater with special education degrees. Steve graduated with honors and they both have furthered their education in this field through graduate work, receiving honors. Steve wrestled in both high school and college and was a coach at the high school where he taught high special education. Steve was a highly respected coach by students, parents, administration and community (twice winning Coach of the Year), but after seven years of coaching high school wrestling, Steve realized he had a new passion of spending time with his children.
Jamie taught elementary and middle school special education for a couple years and moved on to a position at UW-Whitewater as the assistant director of a program for college students with learning disabilities. Jamie enjoyed her job but after their second child was born, she began to dream of staying home with their children, McKenzie, Aidan, and Ava. Steve and Jamie are driven to help other moms and dads get their time back and help as many people as they can achieve their passion in life. They are extremely thankful for Life’s leadership development LIFE training system.
